October 25th, 2021- Weekly School Bulletin
Per our Vaccination Plan, by November 15, all students will be required to have their first shot administered, unless they have a qualified exemption. By December 18, all HSHMC students will be required to show proof of vaccination to be permitted on campus, unless they have a qualified exemption. Students without the vaccine may still participate in our independent study program.
To support this plan, Sharp will be on campus tomorrow between 10:00am and 2:00 pm to provide Pfizer Covid-19 vaccinations. It’s not too late to make an appointment at www.myturn.ca.gov. Walk-ins are welcome if you cannot make an appointment.
Sharp will also be offering Flu vaccinations for our staff and students. If you have not already signed your child up to receive the flu shot you can still do so using up using the link attached to the email version of this message. https://myturn.ca.gov?config=e5c620e8-52b5-4bb9-9ee8-19267ba52344 As always, we strongly recommend you contact your physician if you have any health concerns or questions regarding vaccination safety.
Senior portraits will be taken this week on Wednesday, 10/27 for seniors with last names starting with A-L, and on Thursday, 10/28 for seniors with last names starting with M-Z. Order forms are available at the front desk. (School pictures for students in grades 9-11 will be taken on January 13.)
Our soccer season officially begins this week. There is a mandatory meeting in the Lecture Hall at 3:30 on Tuesday for students planning to play.
This Friday is Spirit Day. Students may dress up in costume and there will be a costume contest after school at 12:45 pm. Please make sure costumes are school appropriate. Students must still wear their regular protective masks.
If you have questions please contact the school at 619-528-9070, or email me any time at sjohnson@hshmc.org.
Have a great week. Thank you
