October 31st, 2022- Weekly School Bulletin
We will be continuing with Academic Recovery this week. Class is from 7:45am-8:15am on
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If your child has any incompletes in their classes they
should be attending ARA in order to complete missed classwork/assignments.
Happy Halloween! Halloween is on Monday, October 31 st . Students are allowed to wear
costumes, however, masks and accessories/props that resemble weapons are not allowed.
Senior Picture Day is this Thursday on November 3 rd ! We ask that your child wears a black top
for uniformity and please make sure their top has sleeves, no shoulders showing or tank tops.
For boys, please wear a black button-down shirt and tie.
This week on Tuesday, November 1 st , we will be having a UCSD representative visit our campus
to inform seniors about the UC application process as they begin to apply for colleges. They will
be meeting after school at 3:30pm.
ASB is holding a costume contest Monday, October 31 st , at lunch in the Cafeteria! Prices will be
awarded to the top 3 costumes as voted on by our Costume Judges!
Attendance matters! Please ensure that your child arrives to school on time every day, so that
they are not missing important learning and falling behind in their classes. Please remember to
call us if you know that your child will be absent from school. This way we can clear their
absence and write up a learning contract for the day they will be missing school.
