VANESSA IS ALWAYS READY TO LISTEN!
Vanessa is our School Social Worker. To support students she checks in with them during their class time on Zoom in breakout rooms, through texts and phone calls,
as well as in person since we have been on campus. She always tries to make sure the students feel comfortable to talk to her about whatever is on their mind, be it
school-related or not, so she can best support their social-emotional needs and hopefully get them more engaged in their academics as a result of that connection.

One of our students recently told Ms. Casanova: “I’m happy there is someone at school I can talk to if I need to.”
