October 24th, 2022- Weekly School Bulletin We will be continuing with Academic Recovery this week. Class is from 7:45am-8:15am on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If your child has any incompletes in their classes they should be attending ARA. The quarter ends this week on Friday, October 28 th , so we want to make sure that students are doing their best and completing missed classwork/assignments. This week on Thursday, October 27 th , we will be having an SDSU representative visit our campus to inform seniors about the CSU application process as they begin to apply for colleges. They will be meeting after school at 3:30pm. There will also be a Parent Committee meeting on Tuesday, October 25 th , through Zoom from 4:30-5:30pm. You can find the Zoom link for the meeting on our HSHMC website. Attendance matters! Please ensure that your child arrives to school on time every day, so that they are not missing important learning and falling behind in their classes. This is especially important as the quarter ends. Please remember to call us if you know that your child will be absent from school. This way we can clear their absence and write up a learning contract for the day they will be missing school.

Picture Day is coming up this week for grades 9-11 on Tuesday October 18 th . Students will be taking pictures in their history class on that day. In a couple of weeks, we will be having an SDSU representative for Cal State visit our campus on October 27 th at 3:30pm. They will be speaking to our seniors about the application process and other necessary steps to apply for college. We also have some Varsity and JV Volleyball games scheduled for this week: Varsity Girls Volleyball: 10/17 vs El Cajon Valley @ ECV @ 6:30 PM 10/18 vs Cristo Rey @ Cristo Rey @ 4:30 pm 10/20 vs Preuss @ Park De La Cruz @ 4:15 JV Girls Volleyball: 10/17 vs El Cajon Valley @ ECV @ 5:00 PM 10/20 vs High Tech High North Country @ Park de la cruz @ 3:15 pm Flag Football also has a game on Saturday, October 22nd at Bayfront Charter at 9 am vs Cristo Rey.

October 10th, 2022- Weekly School Bulletin There will be an ASB fundraiser this Tuesday, October 11th during our lunch time from 11:25am- 12:15pm. Cheese and Pepperoni pizza slices will be sold for $2 a slice and we will be accepting cash or check! We will be continuing with Academic Recovery this week. October 3rd, 2022- Weekly School Bulletin This week at HSHMC we will be having a short day on Friday, October 7th.  School will be dismissed at 12:30pm.  This does not affect students who have their hospital internships on Friday.  They will still be at the hospital for the entire school day and will be getting out of school at 3:00pm. There will also be an Admissions Counselor representative from San Diego State University coming to campus on Friday, October 7th. They will be here from 1-2pm in room 303 for students to learn more about the admissions process to SDSU. September 19, 2022- Weekly School Bulletin If you are interested in joining parent committee, there will be an online meeting through Zoom on Tuesday, September 20 th , at 5:30pm. You can find the link to the Zoom on our website in the "News and Updates" section. We are excited to welcome students back to the hospital, as we will be starting internships this week on Monday, September 19 th ! College classes will also be officially staring on Monday, September 19 th . Please be mindful that our first round of competencies are next week, which will generate grades in PowerSchool. Please check your parent portal for these grades. If you have any questions about PowerSchool please feel free to contact the school.
