Weekly Bulletin – October 30th, 2023

October 30th, 2023- Weekly School Bulletin Hello Families, This upcoming Friday, November 3rd, will be a short day for students. School will release at 12:30pm.  Please make sure that you have transportation plans for your child on this day! We will be hosting tryouts for Boys Basketball, Girls Soccer, and Boys Soccer starting the week of November 6th.  Please turn in your athletic packets and complete your physicals by then! This week will be spirit week! Monday: Pink out - Wear pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness Tuesday: Dress in your favorite costume (no masks) Wednesday: Dia de los Muertos Celebration Thursday: Class Color Wars   Seniors: Black   Juniors: Orange   Sophomores: Purple      Freshmen: Brown Friday: Pajama Day School pictures are ready for you to view and order online! Weekly Bulletin – October 23rd, 2023

October 23rd, 2023- Weekly School Bulletin Hello Families, Please join us for our Parent Committee Meeting this Monday, October 23rd, from 4:30pm-5:30pm.  If you are not a part of the committee, we are always welcoming new members, so please feel free to stop in and join us! Please use the Zoom link on our website to join! We are entering Quarter 2 this week on Monday, October 23rd. Keep a look out for Progress Report letters next week! October 16th, 2023- Weekly School Bulletin Hello Families, Picture day for all students (9th-12th) will be this Tuesday, October 17th, during school. The end of Quarter 1 will be this Friday, October 20th. Please keep an eye out as progress report grades will also be sent out the following week! Weekly Bulletin – October 2nd, 2023

October 2nd, 2023- Weekly School Bulletin Hello Families, There will be no school this upcoming Friday, October 6th, for students! On Friday, September 22nd, we had our Senior Sunrise for our graduating Seniors to celebrate the first month of their final year of High School! Enjoy the video of our class of 2024 seniors talk about their advice, favorite memories, and some thoughts about HSHMC! Senior Sunrise We will have Picture day for all students (9th-12th) on Tuesday, October 17th, during school. Our HSHMC Fire Academy will be co-hosting a community event for fire prevention week on October 14th, located here at HSHMC from 10am-1pm. There will be a fire extinguisher demo and training, compressions only CPR, fire apparatus tours, and a student skill showcase. Please join us to support our Fire team and school! Please check our website for important information on how to download the Powerschool app in order to stay up-to-date with your students’ progress at school. With the app you will be able to see your students grades and schedule, as well as get automatic updates when their grades change or if they are tardy/absent. Attendance matters! Please ensure that your child arrives to school on time every day, so that they are not missing important learning and falling behind in their classes. Please remember to call us if you know that your child will be absent from school. This way we can excuse their absence for the day they will be missing school.

Weekly Bulletin – September 25th, 2023

September 25th, 2023- Weekly School Bulletin Hello Families, This week is our first spirit week! Please see below for the scheduled days: Monday is Pajama day. Tuesday is Generations day. Seniors should dress as senior citizens, Juniors as adults, Sophomores as teenagers, and Freshmen as children. Wednesday is Barbie vs Ken day. Dress up as Barbie, Ken, or Alan. Thursday is Superhero vs Supervillain Day. Friday is class color wars. Seniors wear pink, Juniors wear black, Sophomores wear green, Freshman wear white. On Tuesday, September 26th, during lunch we have a Fall Sports Pep Rally at Kippy's Center. Please join us to show some pride and spirit for all of our Fall sports teams! This Thursday, September 28th, during lunch we will be having a rock-paper-scissors tournament. It is one dollar to enter and the winner will win an ASB Card. ASB Cards are worth $50 and will get you access to all ASB events throughout the year. Students save $10 by purchasing an ASB Card and attending all events. (Senior events and Senior dues are separate from an ASB card). Our first dance of the year is this Friday, September 29th! Spiderman Homecoming will be held at Kippy's Center from 6-9 pm. Students can go to the dance by purchasing an ASB Card or by purchasing an individual ticket for $10. ASB cards and Homecoming tickets will be sold at lunch during this whole week.
