February 27th, 2023- Weekly School Bulletin
We will be continuing with Academic Recovery and Advancement this week. Class is from 7:45am-8:15am on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If you know your child should be attending ARA, please make sure you are sending them in the morning from Tuesday through Thursday. We will also have Academic Recovery and Advancement this Friday, March 3rd, after school from 1:10pm- 3:10pm. 9th and 10th graders with incompletes will be assigned to rooms on the 2nd floor. 11th and 12th-graders need to report to room 303. Please check your HSHMC email, as teachers have emailed students their missing competencies. If you have any questions regarding your student’s incompletes, please email Dr. Joanna Smith at jschaefer@hshmc.org.
This Friday, March 3rd, will be a short day. Students will be released from school at 12:25pm. Please make sure your child has transportation after school!
You are invited! Please join us for our Family Night at HSHMC on March 16th! All family members are welcome to meet us on top of our parking structure from 5pm-7pm. Come join us for a night of fun with a delicious taco bar, fun games, lowriders, and appearances from our HOSA and Fire program! This is a chance to meet teachers and staff, as well as mingle with fellow families! Please follow the link below or scan the QR code to fill out a Google Form to provide your student’s name, grade, and the number of family members that will be attending this event. We will have yearbooks available for purchase for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. Seniors do not need to purchase yearbooks, as the price is included in their senior dues. If you would like to purchase a yearbook for your child in grades 9th through 11th, please use the link below to fill out a Google Form, so that we can guarantee you receive a yearbook. Yearbooks are $40 that you will pay at a later date. Please fill this Google Form out by Tuesday, February 28th. Again, seniors do not need to purchase a yearbook since it is included in their senior dues. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Maggie Fallon at mfallon@hshmc.org.
Attendance matters! Please ensure that your child arrives to school on time every day, so that they are not missing important learning and falling behind in their classes. Please remember to call us if you know that your child will be absent from school. This way we can excuse their absence for the day they will be missing school.
