January 16th, 2024- Weekly School Bulletin (See Week’s Schedule Here)

There will be no school on Monday, January 15th, in observance of MLK Day!
Welcome to finals week! Midterms and finals will be every day this week during school. The last day of the
semester will be on Friday, January 19th.
We will have minimum days all of this week. Students will be released from school at 12:25pm. Please make
sure your child has transportation after school!

Tuesday and Wednesday’s schedule will be as follows:

P1 – 8:30 to 9:25 AM
P2 – 9:30 to 10:25 AM
P3 – 10:30 to 11:25 AM
P4 – 11:30 to 12:25 PM
The schedule for Finals (TH/F) will be as follows:
Thursday
8:30 – 10:10 – First Period
10:10 – 10:45 – Break
10:45 – 12:25 – Second Period
Friday
8:30 – 10:10 – Third Period
10:10 – 10:45 – Break
10:45 – 12:25 – Fourth Period

Academic Recovery will be held from 1 pm – 3 pm on January 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th.  Any student
holding an incomplete is asked to attend these days to clear their missing work. Students will be
assigned to the following rooms:

9th Grade – 104
10th Grade – 301 & 302
11th & 12th Grade – 206

Both teachers and intervention staff are available to work with students during these modified schedule

Please ensure that your child arrives to school on time every day, so that they are not missing important
learning and falling behind in their classes. Please remember to call us if you know that your child will be
absent from school. This way we can excuse their absence for the day they will be missing school. If you
have a planned absence, please contact Mr. Davenport at (619)528-9070 ext. 115 to discuss going on
contract.
