January 17th, 2022- Weekly School Bulletin

We will be continuing with Academic Recovery this week. Class is from 7:45am-8:15am on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If your child has any incompletes in their classes they should be attending ARA in order to complete missed classwork/assignments. If you know your child should be attending ARA, please make sure you are sending them in the morning from Tuesday through Thursday.
As a reminder, we will not have school on Monday, January 16th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will return to school on Tuesday, January 17th. Enjoy your 3-day weekend!
If you are interested in joining our school’s Parent Committee, please join us for our next meeting this week via Zoom on Tuesday, January 17th at 4:30pm. You can find Zoom information on our HSHMC website.

Sharp HealthCare will be on campus this Tuesday, January 17th, to provide TB tests and Flu shots to students who will be attending hospital internships 2nd semester and have not already received their TB or Flu. No TB or Flu shots will be given without parent permission. If you have not yet provided permission and your child needs TB or flu, please return the permission slip on Tuesday that was given to your child. We will also try to reach you by phone to confirm permission.

As a reminder, Senior Dues are due on January 31st. The dues are $85 in total which include your students cap and gown, senior t-shirt, and yearbook. You can make a payment using cash, check, or card. Please turn dues into Ms. Allen on the 4th floor of HSHMC. Please make checks out to HSHMC.

The end of the semester is approaching and finals week will be the week of January 23rd. Students will be released early at 12:30pm every day that week. Finals will be the 26th and 27th.

Attendance matters! Please ensure that your child arrives to school on time every day, so that they are not missing important learning and falling behind in their classes. Please remember to call us if you know that your child will be absent from school. This way we can excuse their absence for the day they will be missing school.
