Thursday, June 9, is high school graduation rehearsal. All senior graduates should meet at HSHMC promptly at 9:00 am. We will travel by bus together to rehearsal. Immediately following rehearsal, seniors will return to HSHMC to enjoy lunch together. Cap and gowns will be handed out during the luncheon. Seniors must also turn in their school computers and chargers during this time as well.

Senior Graduation is on Monday, June 13 at 6:00 pm at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU. No tickets are needed. Paid parking on campus is required. We encourage carpooling, or using public transportation. Both the bus and trolley drop off right at SDSU. All students graduating must arrive by 5:00 pm. A location map is included here.

The last day of school is Tuesday, June 14. , Finals are on Monday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 14. Students have early dismissal on both days at 12:35 pm.

Summer school begins on Tuesday, June 21. We are offering a variety of enrichment courses and look forward to students joining us for our summer program.

There will also be mandatory academic recovery for students ending the year with incompletes. Students who end the year with incompletes are at risk of not successfully completing 2021-2022 coursework. Students who do not complete required coursework are unable to promote to the next grade level and would be required to reapply for their current grade level. Please check your child’s grades in PowerSchool now to be sure they do not have any incompletes. Notices will be sent out this week to students who are required to attend summer school for academic recovery.

If you have any questions, please contact the school at 619-528-9070 or email me directly anytime at sjohnson@hshmc.org.

Thank you. Have a great week.
