Health Sciences High has been proactively addressing the issue of smartphone use on campus, and we are now implementing a new policy that aligns with recent recommendations from Governor Gavin Newsom. The governor's letter underscores the negative impact of excessive phone use on student well-being and academic performance, a concern we’ve already been working to mitigate.
