On Monday evening, Health Sciences High welcomed students and families to Kippy’s for Back to School Night. The event highlighted the strong connections between our students, staff, and the larger City Heights community.
Throughout the night, families enjoyed food, student-led activities, and opportunities to learn about the many clubs, pathways, and community partnerships at HSHMC. The Copley-Price YMCA shared their free teen membership program, OPSAM Health introduced their holistic healthcare services, and SHARP highlighted the internship program that connects HSHMC students with real-world experience.
Students from the Muslim Student Association provided henna tattoos, while the Asian Pacific Islander (API) Club sold musubi and lumpia. The Fire Pathway also hosted a showcase, giving families a chance to see the program in action.
Back to School Night was a reminder of how important it is to celebrate not just academics, but also the connections that make HSHMC a vibrant and supportive community.
